| 内容简介（中文） | 傅抱石（公元一九○四－一九六五年），江西新喻人。擅画山水、人物，亦工篆刻，有印谱传世。所绘人物早期追求顾恺之古朴情趣，笔法绵密圆劲，后取法陈老莲之造型和石涛之意态，相互融汇，形成老辣中见潇洒，飘逸中寓深沉之艺术风貌。 画中仕女案前弹筝，女子发髻作数笔浓墨而有层次，以写意笔法作白描衣纹，线条流畅，全幅笔简意远，娟秀雅致。 本幅蔡辰男先生捐赠。 |
| 内容简介（英文） | Lady Playing an Instrument Fu Pao-shih (1904-1965) Republican Period Fu Pao-shih was a native of Hsin-yu, Kiangsi, who excelled at painting landscapes and figures as well as carving seals, a subject about which he wrote a manual. Early in his career he followed the archaicly simple style of Ku K’ai-chih (ca. 344-ca. 406) for his figure painting, resulting in his brushwork becoming detailed and strong. Later, he took the exaggerated forms of Ch’eng Hung-shou (1559-1652) and the inspiration of Shih-t’ao (1642-1707) to combine the two and form a style mature yet fresh and solid yet lofty. In this painting, a lady stands in front of a table playing a stringed instrument. Her hair has been rendered quickly with several layers of dark brushstrokes. Sketchy brushwork has been used for the clothes done in outline manner. The strokes flow downward to give this work a simple yet elegant appearance. This work was donated to the Museum by Mr. Tsai Ch’en-nan. |
