| 内容简介（中文） | 黄筌（卒于公元九六五年），四川成都人，字要叔。十七岁即任职后蜀画院，曾师法刁光胤、李升等名家的长处，而有自己的面貌。 几只珠颈斑鸠活动于郊原上，其中二只飞翔于低空，另外三只正漫步于竹丛边。流露出在大自然间怡然自得之情景。作者注重写生，对鸟的形状以至神态，都极用心观察，如羽毛层层迭覆的变化也都详加描绘。本幅旧传为黄筌之作，与本院所藏的另一幅宋人竹石鸠子图在构景方面十分相近。 |
| 内容简介（英文） | Huang Ch'uan, style-named Yao-shu, hailed from Ch'eng-tu in Szechwan. At age 16, he was appointed to serve in the Academy of Painting in Szechwan. He learned from Tiao Kuang-yin, T'eng Ch'ang-yu, Li Sheng and some other masters, but Huang Ch'uan was able to establish his own unique style. Several spot-neck doves busy themselves in the countryside. Two of them are flying while the other three stroll by the bamboo grove. This delightful painting conveys a happy scene of contentment in nature full of activities. The painter so much emphasized on the observation of the shapes, and spirit of birds. He did not neglect to draw from life even to the minutest details of feathers. This painting is traditionally attributed to Huang Ch'uan. There is a painting entitled Bamboo, Rocks, and Doves by a Sung artist in our collection, bearing a close resemblance to this Huang's picture in the arrangement of compositional elements. |
