| 内容简介（中文） | 黄庭坚〈公元1045─1105年〉，江西分宁人。字鲁直，号涪翁。治平四年〈1067年〉二十三岁进士，作过县尉、校书郎、起居舍人、国史编修、知州等官。本幅尺牍以小行楷书之，字势欹侧，横划斜向伸出，是黄庭坚书风特色，惟笔划中之顿性起伏较少，与其大行书略有差别。此牍曾入宋元秘府，后并入「三希堂法帖」，现收入「宋十二名家法书册」中。 |
| 内容简介（英文） | Huang T'ing-chien (style name Lu-chih; sobriquet Fu-weng) was a native of Fen-ning, Kiangsi. In 1067 at the age of twenty-two, he passed the chin-shih civil service examination and subsequently held such offices as District Defender, Editor, Imperial Diarist, Historiography Compiler, and Prefect, etc. This letter was written in small characters in semi-cursive script. The structure of the characters leans strongly in many different poses that is a unique feature of Huang's calligraphic style. However, there are fewer pauses in his strokes here, making this work distinct from his large character calligraphy. This piece entered the Sung (960-1279) and Yuan (1271-1368) imperial repositories and was also later among the works housed in the San His-t'ang (Three Treasures Studio). Currently it is in the Album of Twelve Calligraphic Masters From the Sung Dynasty. |

A Presented Scholar (jinshi) of 1067, he excelled at poetry and especially calligraphy. He was particularly good at cursive script, his regular script also in a style of his own.
