| 内容简介（中文） | 瓜果熟透，引来觅食的螽斯（又称纺织娘），其生产力旺盛；瓜果多子，瓜叶、瓜须为蔓生植物，能绵延生长，故此画蕴含有「祝愿子孙众多」的吉祥寓意。 瓜皮用老绿染，瓜棱填以赭黄，裂缝则以石绿淡染。瓜叶边缘已枯残，亦用赭黄渍染。本院所藏宋韩佑（活动于公元一一三一─一一六二年）「螽斯绵瓞」与此图构图书法相似。 本幅选自「宋人集绘」第三开。 |
| 内容简介（英文） | Melon and Katydid Anonymous Sung Dynasty (960-1279) An overripe melon sitting on the ground attracts a katydid (also known as a “lady spinner”) to feast. The katydid is a symbol of great progeny, and the melon is known for having many seeds and its sprawling vines. Thus, this work is an auspicious blessing for “having many sons and grandsons”. The skin of the melon was done in washes of darker green while the veins were filled with yellowish ochre. Light washes of malachite were used for the area split open. The edges of the melon leaf, to show they have begun to wither, are touched with yellowish ochre. This composition is similar to that of Katydids and a Melon Plant by Han Yu (fl. 1131-1162) in the Museum collection. This is the 3rd leaf from “Collected Works by Sung Painters”. |
