| 内容简介（英文） | On a gentle incline here sprout shoots of bamboo with daisies growing below. A quail has just caught a grasshopper (with only its wings and hind legs visible) and is about to make a meal out of it. This vivid scene is an intimate reflection of nature. When painting, the artist is able to manipulate colors and forms freely, but with tapestry the artist is much more limited. Colored threads are fixed in place, making it much more difficult to convey a sense of realism and spontaneity. This is the second leaf from the album Ming-chih hua-niao hsieh-sheng ts’e. |
