| 内容简介（中文） | 文嘉（公元一五０一－一五八三年）字休承，号文水。江苏苏州人。文征明次子，工诗书，画能传家学，笔势疏秀而多棱角，用墨方面尤富奇趣。 本册十三开，除末二开为花卉画外，余皆山水画，其中水墨、设色相参。每幅并皆以诗意融入画中，诗画颇相契合。笔墨清劲，设色雅淡，得清冷隽秀之致，能传文征明家学。 |
| 内容简介（英文） | Poetic Landscapes Wen Chia (1501-1583) Ming Dynasty Wen Chia, a native of Soochow, was the second son of the famous scholar-artist Wen Cheng-ming (1470-1559). Wen Chia was skilled at poetry and calligraphy, and his painting followed that of his father. His brushwork was elegant and angular, and his use of ink was especially rich and unique. The 13 leaves of this album, except for the last two depicting flowers, are of landscapes in either ink or ink and colors. A poetic quality pervades the paintings in perfect harmony. The brushwork is clear and energetic, and the colors are refined, contributing to the clarity and elegance of these works. Thus, this album carries on in the family style of Wen Cheng-ming |
