| 内容简介（中文） | 本幅绘荷叶枯黄，芙蓉展艳，一派秋光旖旎，花间鹡鸰腾跃，翡翠静静停留，两鸿雁振翅凌空，意在千里。无画家款印，旧传为崔氏之作。 崔白(约公元十一世纪)，安徽凤阳人，字子西。宋仁宗至神宗时为画院画家。精工画花卉翎毛，尤以枯荷凫雁得名，但亦精于道释、人物、鬼神。据说他作画时从不起稿，画长直坚挺的线条，无须使用直尺界画，操笔立就。 |
| 内容简介（英文） | Withered lotus leaves and hibiscus appear in this work and convey the essence of autumn. A kingfisher perches quietly and wagtails fly back and forth as a pair of wild geese have just taken wing. Bearing no seal or signature of the artist, this work was attributed traditionally to Ts’ui Po. Ts’ui Po, a native of Anhwei, served as a court painter in the reigns of Jen –tsung and Shen-tsung. He excelled at painting birds, flowers, and animals, and he was especially gifted at depicting withered lotuses and wild geese as well as Buddhist and Taoist subjects, figures, and spirits. He is said to have never done drafts, working directly with long, powerful strokes, A master of the brush, he also did not use a ruler when drawing straight lines. |
