| 内容简介（中文） | 陈洪绶（1598-1652），浙江诸暨人。字章侯，号老莲，又称悔迟。擅长人物及花鸟、山水，喜用夸张手法，表现古拙变形的造型趣味。 以枯笔淡墨描绘折枝花，老干新枝转折造殊特殊，疏枝上含苞、绽放杏花，则以淡洋红染点花瓣，浓墨点花蕊，颇具真实感。陈氏此时风格构图由繁趋简，设色由浓艳归淡雅，线条由方直转圆劲。此幅选自＜杂画册＞，个人性格特征鲜明，创造力丰富，实为其写生精彩佳作，作于四十八岁。(20110102) |
| 内容简介（英文） | Chen Hongshou, a native of Zhuji in Zhejiang, had the style name Zhanghou, sobriquet Laolian, and name Huichi. He specialized in figures as well as landscapes and bird-and-flower subjects, often using exaggerated techniques to express an interest in archaic and distorted shapes. Dry brushwork and light ink were used to render a solitary branch of apricot blossoms. New twigs with buds and blossoms twist and turn from the old branch in an unusual form. Washes of light magenta portray the petals, with dark ink for the pistils, creating a very realistic effect. Chen Hongshou’s style at this time went from complex compositions to simpler ones, his coloring from opulently strong to elegantly light, and his lines from angular and straight to more rounded and powerful. In this work from “Album of Miscellaneous Paintings,” Chen’s personal style is particularly obvious and creative, making it a marvelous example of his “sketching from life” done at the Chinese age of 48.(20110102) |
