| 内容简介（中文） | 程琳字雩来，乾隆时安徽歙县人，居浙江嘉兴。善花卉，尤工水墨牡丹。 本幅为「画四时花卉册」之一幅。程琳以强烈的红绿色调来表现娇艳的花朵，和鲜绿的叶子。鲜丽的色彩并不一定落俗，它为本幅带来富丽与清新的感觉。 |
| 内容简介（英文） | Peony Ch’eng Lin (18th century) Ch’ing Dynasty This painting has been selected from the album "Flowers and Plants of the Four Seasons". Ch’eng Lin has used vivid red and green tones to depict the exquisite blossom, using bright green on the leaves. The brilliant tones, however, are anything but vulgar; they lend the painting vigor and freshness. Ch’eng Lin (whose style name was Yu-lai) was from Yi-hsien in Anhwei, but spent most of his life in Chia-hsing, Chekiang. He is noted for his paintings of flowers and plants, particularly for his ink paintings of peonies. |
